The African nose (African-American or African, black, Negro) is generally without much tip support and broad with wide nostrils and the dorsum is generally flat or almost not apparent. The tip is the major focal point. Generally the skin is thicker and this also determines the degree of result.
The Asian nose is similar to the African nose in that it too lacks much dorsal height. The tip is generally small almost petite.
The Middle Eastern (Greek, Italian, and Arabic) nose is very similar in that the tip is generous in proportion --length and width, even hooked in appearance. The dorsum can be nonspecific or have major bony pronouncement making have what we call a "dorsal hump."
